Prarthana V. Rewatkar was awarded an International postgraduate research scholarship (IPRS) (2012-2015), which has enabled her to explore PhD research interests at Pharmacy Australia Centre of Excellence, Brisbane, Australia. Her Research Higher Degree topic was multidisciplinary and involved the investigation of the role of caveolae (cell biology) in endocytosis of amino acid-based asymmetric dendrimer (peptide chemistry). Apart from Dr Marie-Odile Parat, she was co-supervised by Dr Harendra S Parekh. During her tenure, she was able to receive two travel grants, presented her work in the form of oral presentation in national and international conferences and published 4 articles (3 research and 1 review) in well reputed international journals. Currently, she is working on her own pharmaceutical drug export firm establishment (MedCast) in India.
